The wait is finally over. G3 CloneCloth For Essential Man (Trey) has now been officially released. Unfortunately we will have to wait till the end of next month for the companion G3 Female pack but this is a great starting point for CloneCloth fans.

Today saw the release of two new Science Fiction packs in the Reallusion Content Store. The packs are, Space Stations Vol 1 and Colony Buildings Vol 1. Both packs contain 11 props.

All being well we should see the release of G3 Male CloneCloth this week. The full pack will have 7 Design Bases, 14 Clothing Textures, 6 Shoe Bases, 12 Shoe Textures and 2 sets of Sleeves. Importantly the pack will also contain 32 Wrinkle Maps which enable you to add realism to your textures without needing advanced texturing or artistic skills. Sadly it looks like we will have to wait a little longer for the G3 Female CloneCloth pack which is still being finished off.

If you are a regular visitor to this blog you will notice a change to the layout. Hopefully you will not find this new black theme objectionable but I really needed a change. Plus I’m a big fan of simple layouts and they don’t come much simpler than this.
I’ll be tidying things up over the next few days so apologies if anything looks weird for a day or so. Apart from that everything is still the same. Feel free to leave any comments if you wish.
It’s been a while since I posted again. “What’s the excuse this time” you may be asking. Well I can reveal I have been busy playing testing the new Crazytalk 6 which is due for a mid to late June release and it’s a real winner I can tell you.
There are many new and improved features in CT6, but the biggie has to be multi character support. Yes finally this long requested feature is here and the development have done an incredible job with it.
Not limited to two characters as often asked for, you can now have an amazing 4 characters in a single photo, all talking at the same time, in the same project. No longer will you have to work with green screen techniques or careful editing to get that group vocal. Now it can all be done in Crazytalk and it’s so easy to do. You’ll have them all setup in minutes. To make this all possible you now have a new tab in the timeline called Stage. It is from here that all your four characters will be listed and where each one can have their vocals added. It really is fantastic.

It’s been quite a while since I last updated the blog (sorry about that) but for me the biggest news in that time has been the official announcement of G3 CloneCloth.
It has been known for what seems an eternity that G3 CloneCloth was coming, but now we finally see what styles will be coming. Well at least for the G3 Male we do.
For those that don’t know, CloneCloth is Reallusions own clothing system for iClone, which enables anyone with an image editor to create unlimited clothing for their avatars, just by editing the diffuse and opacity maps.
Now rather than just rehash the G2 CloneCloth for G3, the team at RL have been locked away in darkened rooms creating a completely new set of styles with added features that will make this new version of CloneCloth a must buy.
The images below show the 7 male styles available in the pack and some sample outfits made from the style templates. The female styles will unveiled soon.
G3 CloneCloth is scheduled for release in late May, early June.
