Machines Of War Released

machinesofwar

The highly anticipated WWII pack Machines Of War has now been released. This amazing new pack which will work standalone or as a companion to the previously released GI vs Wehrmacht is bumper packed with everything you need for creating those epic land or air battles.

This theme pack contains:

  • The Legendary Armour Tanks in WWII
German Panzer IV, Panther, Tiger I and Tiger II and M4 Sherman Tank from the allies

  • Mobilized Military Vehicles in WWII:
German BMW 75 side car motorcycles, US Willys Jeep, cargo truck

  • Aircrafts in WWII:
BF109 and FW190 from Luftwaffe, Spitfire from Royal Air Force and P51 Mustang from USAAF.

“All machines in this pack are iProps. Through the built in Action Script and iAnimations, users can use the hot keys to move the vehicles forward, back or turn directly. They can also rotate the cannons on the tank or move the cannons up and down or even open fire. The interactive function of the fighter planes include the rotation of the propeller, Gear Up/Down, opening or closing of the cockpit and open fire.”

There is also a free  bonus pack included which contains 4 specially designed battle field terrains, including a grassland, snow land, dessert, and cliff.

It has to be said that this pack looks truly amazing. The models are authentic and look extremely detailed considering the modest poly count. With the built in animations you will be able to create some awesome looking battles that will bring a whole new level of realism to your movies.

The pack is currently on sale at $199.95 (RRP $225.80). Even better, for a limited time buy this pack and get 5500 BackStage points free. Now that is a pretty good deal. If buying the whole pack is a bit much for your budget, fear not as the pack has also been broken down into 3 smaller packs, each one covering the Tanks, Aircraft and the Mobilized Vehicles respectively.

AML ScriptEditor

Reallusion has recently released this fantastic new tool. The AML ScriptEditor is a powerful program that enable you to create Persona files for your avatars or Dramascripts for your iProps.

If you have been using iClone3 then you will have no doubt already used these files, but have probably wondered how you create your own. Now the AML ScriptEditor has a little bit of learning curve but if you follow the numerous tutorials available then you’ll be up and running in no time.

The AML ScriptEditor is a developers tool so you will need to be a CCD member to download it. The good news is, if you have already registered your software at the Reallusion website then you can simply login to the CCD Developer Center with the same details. It’s that easy.
