iClone 3.0 - July 2008

Finally more news on iClone 3.0 is out. First the important release date has been given as July 2008. Just three months and this whole new edition of iClone should be upon us.

Now I'm pretty stoked about this and if you head over to iClone.tv you can check out the first details of the new features. Real time character puppeteering, XML based "Dramascripts", Recordable walk and fly cams and In scene motion editing are just a few of the incredible goodies coming our way. Exciting times ahead.

Yes, this does look like a tasty upgrade. Looking forward to it.

But still no hint on what the upgrade will cost those of us with 2.5?

I am preparing for the worst - an upgrade so out of my range that I have to abandon the tool - by learning other packages as fast as I can.

I'm very worried about how expensive things have been priced lately (charging people $60 to beta test their CT5 product), and now with the current pricing on 'wedding' content, that I'm getting ready to not be surprised by an upgrade cost that'll end my use of the tool.
