Reallusion Forum Taken Offline

The Reallusion forum has been taken offline today after a suspected attack was made on it yesterday. Reallusion are still investigating the exact cause of the problem which resulted in all posts being truncated to just a few words and images no longer displaying. The forum will remain offline until the exact extent of the damage is known and the problem is resolved.

If you attempt to access the forum you will currently be met with this official message:

"Server Alert: We've detected some abnormal activities in forum server since Oct. 22nd, 2007. To make sure there's no further damage, currently we have shut down the Forum for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience, and please try later. Thanks for you patience! "

It's a sad day when a great forum like the Reallusion one gets attacked for absolutely no good reason, probably just for the hell of it. I really hope that these disruptive attempts at causing chaos do not force the closure of the forum for too long. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a quick resolution and hopefully no lasting damage is found to the message database itself.

iClone 2.5 is Here

After being built up into frenzy awaiting for the release of the latest iClone update, the wait is finally over and iClone 2.5 is here. The official release is slated for Monday 22nd October, but Reallusion's forum head Visconti has published the download link on the forum exclusively for members to download the patch version ready for the weekend.

Personally I have been massively impressed with the update. Unlike a lot of updates which just fix some program issues, this patch brings genuine new features to the already impressive iClone 2. More about the new features and the Horse and Tack Pack very soon. For now head over to the Reallusion website and get hold of the patch as soon as possible. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Save The Cheerleader

To celebrate the renewal of the Reallusion forum, RL have posted a forum freebie for all members and a top quality freebie it is too. The Cheerleader character is a full G1 figure complete with a new hairstyle and face. The parts are interchangeable with other G1 figures except the boots which show the leg through when used with other Lower outfits which is a shame. The new hairstyle alone makes this a worthwhile download as you can never have too many hairstyles to choose from in my opinion.

All in all this is a fantastic gesture giving away quality character like this so I would advise anyone who is a member of the forum to grab it now. She will make a great addition to your library.
