It's been a busy week for me so I've not been able to update the blog sadly. Thankfully it's been a quiet week on the iClone front so I haven't missed anything important in my absence. Today I thought I would just update a few things and generally ramble on for a bit.
First up, in the little bit of free time I have had this week I've been trying out the Feminine Movement Motion Pack. This pack contains 36 new motions of really good quality. I can never get enough new animations for my iClone characters and this pack was a great addition to the library. One problem I'm having is that as my motion library grows I'm beginning to lose track of where each particular motion I want is. It's a case of knowing I have the animation I want somewhere but it's taking me an age to find it. I'm going to try and think of way of indexing all these animations as soon as I get chance. I hate wasting valuable time searching for stuff when I'm in the middle of a project.
I also want to get back to working on a project I started using the G2 Max Templates. I started it a while ago but got sidetracked with the CloneCloth stuff (So many goodies, so little time) but now I really want to get that one finished. More about this soon.
Since the iClone 2.1 Vista Patch was released I've been working full time with iClone on my Vista setup and boy is it an improvement on the performance I was getting from older Windows XP machine. I know a lot of people knock Vista but I really like it and now I have my 4 favourite Reallusion programs running on it. iClone 2.1, Crazytalk 4.6, FaceFilter Studio 2.0 and 3DXchange are all happily running in Vista without a hitch. Also 3DS Max 9 now works in Vista just fine so overall I'm a happy man and don't have any regrets about moving full time to Vista.
Well that's it for today. More coming soon. Happy iCloning.
